Over the years, Talon has responded to the requests and demands of anglers all through the world by designing thousands of rod actions while adhering to one simple principle - material alone does not make a rod good. We constantly produce new rods to meet the ever increasing challenges while taking advantage of further technological developments, bringing to you the finest graphite and carbon fibre rods available.
1998 is no different, and this year we have expanded our We have added two-handed models in our Cairnton Extra Fast series. These rods have more powerful butts for those desiring a very short stroke.
For those desiring both an overhead and roll cast, the Highlander series offers a full complement of graphite fly rod models. Within the Highlander is our "S" series designed for longer strokes.
The Highlander three piece travel rod series has also had models added to it. It now includes models from 7'6" through 10'0".
For those desiring a saltwater action, the Cairnton series offers three piece models in 8, 9, 10, 12, and 14 weight.
In total, we have added 15 new Highlander fly rods to our line-up!
